Child & Youth Program at Nisa Homes

Where Healing Begins with Play

Healing for Children. Hope for Families.

At Nisa Homes, healing isn't just for moms. Our Child & Youth Program creates warm, welcoming spaces where kids can feel safe, express themselves, and rediscover joy.

While mothers focus on rebuilding their lives, children receive the emotional support and care they need, through play, creativity, and connection.

Together, we nurture resilience, strengthen family bonds, and help children simply be kids again.
How We Help

Support That Grows With Them

Therapeutic Support

Group & 1-on-1 sessions led by trained child & youth workers help kids express emotions, build coping skills, and gain confidence.

Age-Appropriate Activities

Storytime, arts & crafts, outdoor play, and more — all tailored to different age groups to encourage emotional growth and creativity.

Trauma-Informed Care

Our CYWs are trained in trauma-sensitive approaches that gently support children who’ve experienced hardship or instability.

Parental Support

We work alongside moms to provide parenting tools and support that foster stronger connections and help them navigate tough times.

Holistic Growth

We focus on each child’s physical, emotional, and social well-being with activities that promote joy, movement, and healthy friendships.

Safe, Stable Spaces

Above all, our homes are safe havens where children feel secure, respected, and loved.
